Rest in Peace Senior Master Sigung Stephen LaBounty
To all our Kenpo Family, domestic and international:
It is with great sadness I acknowledge that my dear friend and mentor of 50+ years, Senior Master Sigung Stephen LaBounty, went home to be with his God and heavenly family.
His accomplishments in the Martial Arts community speak for themselves. Sigung was smart, witty and compassionate about life and his Kenpo.
It is now our responsibility to carry his legacy with honor, respect and integrity. Let us put differences aside and live together with this in mind.
Rest In Paradise, my dear friend.
Love and Respect,
John Sepulveda

This is such sad news. Sigung meant so much to me in a time in my life that his teachings, friendship, his honor and integrity and kindness were so needed. I loved being his student, going to his camps, getting the bruises, and knowledge.
In the last years we lost touch, this I will regret forever. Always wanted him to know, that I understood the reason why he kept me at the rank I was for so so long. I finally understood too many years later.
Rest in eternal peace…ooosss

A great loss for kenpo and the world, a true gentleman, I will miss his classes, strictness and jokes. My last goodbye to Sigung from Mexico. Rest in Peace.
It was an honor to know him. He will be missed
